Here is What You'll Learn

The purpose of this webinar is to examine our personal leadership attributes, characteristics, and behaviors as paradigms. We will also evaluate various leadership practices and their respective applications. The goal is to ensure, as leaders, we have a purposefully created and practiced positive set of leadership paradigms. Secondly, that as leaders we help our followers understand and adopt positive leadership traits.

About Dr. Jeff Fox

Dr. Jeff Fox served for 27 years in the field of criminal justice, 21 of which were with the VA State Police. He began his law enforcement career as a military policeman in the Army and served as a town police officer, trooper, sergeant, first sergeant, and lieutenant. He served as a field lieutenant with the state police and served as the assistant training director. He served as the statewide incident management program manager for the VA Department of Transportation. Jeff earned a master’s degree in criminal justice administration and an MBA degree with specialization in criminal justice. He earned a PhD in business administration with specialization in homeland security. He is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute Administrative Officers Course and the VA Commonwealth Management Institute. Jeff has been teaching at various colleges and universities since 2001. He retired as the program coordinator and assistant professor for the Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness and Criminal Justice Cohort Programs for VCU. Jeff served as an assistant professor and chair of the Public Safety Adult Degree Completion Programs for a private college. He has taught approximately 700 hundred courses in homeland security, emergency management, and criminal justice.
